Ready or not, clarity is coming for us this week, with both a Mercury cazimi and a new moon in Taurus.

Taurus is fecund as fuck. And I think we can all agree, fuck is pretty fucking fecund.

This is the good soil. None of that dry, dusty shit. This soil is the color of dark chocolate and teeming with microorganisms. Any intentions we plant in here will grow like the happiest of weeds.

So be careful what you plant here. Because you WILL get more of it. A lot more.

Thursday’s Mercury cazimi is the perfect day to get clear on what you’re planting. Make a list and check it twice. Talk it out with your trusted collaborators.

Then, on Friday, it’s time to plant those seeds. Focus on feeling and experiencing the things you want to feel and experience more of. Tell the new moon what’s for you.

Then seal the deal with a bone reading from the Wyrd Sisters on Saturday (12-5) at Sacred Portal in Port Townsend. Because the best way to water your intention-seeds is through aligned action.

This World Rewards…

One of the hardest lessons I’ve had to learn in this lifetime is that this world does not reward talent. It rewards bravery.

You could be the most brilliant, competent, creative, adept artist alive today, and it wouldn’t make a damn bit of difference. Because the world doesn’t care about potential. It only sits up and takes notice when we take real risks.

Courage, audacity, tenacity, brave vulnerability… these are the traits of a successful creator. The ones who don’t give up, who refuse to be silenced and ignored, who just keep showing up and giving their gifts whether or not anyone asked for them, these are the innovators who survive.

Don’t get me wrong, your gifts are still valuable whether or not anyone else recognizes them. By all means, hone your craft as a devotional gratitude practice. But don’t expect anyone to take notice until you stand up and shout from the rooftops, “HERE ARE MY GIFTS! COME AND GET THEM!”

This is still my greatest challenge. Not creating, but shamelessly sharing my creations with the world.
